Lenovo is joining the ranks of manufacturers allowing you to opt to have a Linux distro pre-loaded and supported by the OEM. They chose Fedora, which to me was a little bit of an interesting choice due to its bleeding-edge nature. So far, this is only going to be available on a few models: ThinkPad P1 Gen2, ThinkPad X1 Gen8, ThinkPad P53. However, may introduce it on other models depending on how this pilot turns out. Any progress is good progress. Definitely hope this pilot works out well for them and this becomes more mainstream for their other models. :)
