Linux Mint 20 XFCE-Installed Nvidia, Fonts Too Small.
« on: July 10, 2020, 02:34:48 PM »
I've posted about this on two other forums.  They are not exact copies of each other.  Because as I built these posts, I was able to make things more concise.  I first went to the Linux Mint forums, but I think my post might have fizzled out.  The point is if I can't figure this problem out, I won't be using Linux Mint 20 XFCE.  This kind of a problem is a deal breaker.

Before I tried installing my Nvidia Driver, the Font sizes were just fine.   But after I installed the Nvidia, some of the fonts, on some of the programs shrunk to unreadable.

BUT this does not effect the whole system.
Here is a mixed view:

Strange, I don't have any such thing happening here and there doesn't seem to be a pattern as it looks like both qt and gtk apps affected.
If you must persist, I will be forced to tar you, then gzip you and finally umount you.

I even had it do this twice.  The first time I installed Linux Mint 20 XFCE onto a Hard Drive and then installed the Nvidia drivers.  Right away I had a problem.  Next I decided to test my theory by installing to two usb thumb drives.  I set one install up without Nvidia driver and the other with the Nvidia driver. Every time the one with the Nvidia driver messes those applications up.  I also have Xubuntu 20.04 installed on a hard drive with the same Nvidia driver, and I haven't noticed it giving me this issue.
