There are plenty of other Arch derivatives out in the wild and as stated one will continue to get updates from Arch. The arch base is very modular meaning you can convert it to Manjaro or Parabola by swapping out your mirror list and installing a new kernel from the parent project you are transferring to. Sad to see them go, but it is not the end of the world!

Definitely sad to see them go. It was a good project, but I can totally understand not having enough time to maintain it. Like they said, they're doing it in advance while everything is still working vs just letting it sit leaving everyone wondering if the project is still alive. Props to them for that!
