Hello,
I am happy to report that Xbox controller clone made by (Matricom) works with steam with Debian 9+ proton. It intergrates well with the games like the Sega sonic series . I know, in way I created a steam box ! Cheers!

So does PS4 and 8Bitdo controllers. I HIGHLY recommend the 8Bitdo controllers. They didn't mess around with quality on those things.
