Maybe Vivaldi is the best web browser, but unfortunately, on my PC Vivaldi is slower than even Firefox for some reason. :( But I'll try it now with codecs, maybe it will work better, thanks! :)

Unfortunately I had to drop Vivaldi due to some Javascript bugs... it will not work with my control panel for administering this website and it will not work with web services which use java services... BUMMER!

Just to add on to the widevine thing. If you install Chrome, vivaldi-widevine will conflict with it (at least on Arch). If you have Chrome installed, you can just use
Code: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
ln -s /opt/google/chrome/libwidevinecdm.so /opt/vivaldias root and it will function like if you had vivaldi-widevine installed.

It seems Chrome is still the best browser even in 2018. Most Chromebooks have Celeron CPUs, so it's safe to assume Chrome is trying to become usable on under powered computers. Firefox is using too much CPU on idle for some reason. I don't know about Brave, never tried it, and as long as Chrome works well for me, i won't look for something to switch.
