mCOLe Updated. (non-official)
« on: June 09, 2017, 03:10:26 AM »
Ben Fitzpatrick and I have created an un-official updated version of mCOLe.  Since the original version hasn't been updated in such a long time, Some packages had to be removed and others added to get things working properly. There are a few minor bugs present, it's a work in progress. Our hope is that Spatry will grant us access to the main project so we can simply just maintain it. Because at this point it has essentially been forked by this build. We would much rather work with the original project instead. But until we can make that happen. This is what we have to offer. We hope you like it. :)

You guys are awesome! Can't wait to try it out! :D

Hopefully, we'll hear something back from Spatry soon. I bet you he wouldn't have a problem sharing the original project though. He's been looking for somebody willing to maintain it for some time.

I know. He asked me if i wanted to be the maintainer about a year and a half ago. I wasn't willing to take on that workload by myself. And i have my own project to maintain.  But since i started working with Ben, Things have gotten easier. Ben is a regular code jockey. :)

Will definitely have to give this one a go. Tried the one from the front page & got that many errors I gave up.

Update: Installed with no issues. Great work guys.

glad to see all the great feedback, we did try a 32bit copy BUT we failed due to issues post updating from the old ISO thus that is on hold right now until we can get past that and it boots normal. I know Arch and other mainstream distros are no longer supporting 32bit computers and Manjaro is adapting to that soon. But we WILL try to get a new mCOLe 32bit out soon guys. Be patient, thanks,
Ben.
