I built an entertainment console running openSUSE 13.2, GNOME 3.14, and I'd really like some LiveWallpaper similar to what the PS3 would have.

....the "Noise" option is the one I really like. Does anyone know where I could find this?

We have had the ability to have animated wallpapers for years... I think I may have a video or two on that as well... the program you want is xwinwrap.
