Hi, post the outputs of:
lspci -a
lsmod

Also are you using pulseaudio? If you are, please post the erroneous output

lspci -a ?
@TS:
How did you set up your sound, what did you install so far?
What DE do you use?

No problem, in this case I would pipe it to |grep -i audio, and pipe lsmod to |grep snd.
So this could be your first steps.
If your sound card (or more)is detected and lsmod gives back the sound modules,
I'd recommend to install the packages alsa-utils, alsa-plugins, pulseaudio-alsa, pulseaudio and pavucontrol.
If you have installed them, start with selecting your sound card with
Code: [Select]
alsamixer
and turn volume up.
Master volume can be unmuted with

Code: [Select]
amixer sset Master unmute
Start pulseaudio and enable start on bootup with systemd

Code: [Select]
pulseaudio --start
systemctl --user enable pulseaudio.socket
Check if it's running:

Code: [Select]
ps -ef | grep pulseaudio
Open pavucontrol, make sure your sound device is selected under output devices and turn volume up.
