I won't be here today too long. I have much trouble and stuff to do in the next couple days. So 13th would be the next day I would be here for long.
Also that's why I'd like to set GameNight to 06.20.14

I will try to be here tonight for a bit.

It is something that would require about 5 minutes or so.

I'm definitely in on this Jay, I just need to settle on a distro for my main rig.  I'm still messing around, I was running Parabola but Nouveau can't handle Alien Arena very well, in case anyone else was planning on using that driver.  They are rolling out re-clocking for some cards, just not mine anytime soon.

Linux Gaming Night. Sorry but my gaming night is regrettably spent on my Windows partition. lol. We all know where (most) advanced gaming stands on Linux....
I got the 3d Space Cadet Pinball game from XP running flawlessly under Wine though :) That one is and always will be a classic. Dropboxed it in case anyone wants it (your welcome) https://www.dropbox.com/s/7vuk7kzfryl6bn0/Pinball.zip
Supertux and some of KDE's games are pretty cool.

As we got both US and EU members I'd suggest starting at 6 pm or 7 pm EST
I mentioned this quote a few posts before but that was only a suggestion. I'm open and free (just like Alien Arena) for any time you guys prefer.

You are right! Most games are still only available for Windows. However the trend is going towards Linux and also I mentioned a list of good F2P games available for Linux in the original post. And those games that we plan to play here and are fun as well!

I set up a timer and added the time we will start playing. To make it fair and easy for europeans AND US-citizens I chose:
6 pm EST

You got a limited time to vote now. Only 1 more day to vote! After that, I'll lock the poll and we play the game with the most votes :D

Tried that one earlier and it looks pretty cool as well. Also Sauerbraten is a nice game, although I can't think of a more ridiculous name... Plop.

Just thought I would mention, I've been experimenting with Alien Arena, and some older versions have an annoying bug with the proprietary AMD and NVIDIA drivers.  Here's a description of it (in regard to Mac, but it's the same deal, it affects all Open GL proprietary drivers) http://red.planetarena.org/forum/archive/index.php?thread-1060.html

It's been fixed for 7.66-1, so if your game keeps crashing with "Received signal 11, exiting...", make sure you're using at least 7.66-1
