Hello my name is Frank and I live in Texas. I own and operate a Battlefield games store. We sell magic the gathering and of coarse dice rpg's like Shadowrun, World of Darkness, D&D and other things. I have been running windows boxes at my store and on my home PC for some years now. Since college I have known about linux and I always figured that if I knew anything about it that it would save me a lot of money. New versions, expensive business software, and reloading after it just got bogged down was costing me time and money that I could have been putting towards better projects. But like most people considering a change I didn't know where to start. I was fooling around on you tube while I was at my store and my employees where overseeing a Magic the Gathering tournament. I was watching epic fail videos and probably a few cat video's. Hey don't laugh some of that craps funny. I decided to run a search on linux and installation. I figured that it would be your usual linux is better than anything techy geek going off and making a case for there distribution like 90% of the linux video's are. It was Spatry talking about Ubuntu 13.10 wich I am now running of my laptop. I was afraid that installation was going to be a pain because my first taste of linux back in college was an install disk for an old Redhat that I couldn't ever get past the partition manager. Within 20 min or so of seeing that video I had Ubuntu up and running on my laptop and I was searching for drivers ext. I am now in the process of changing all my business computers over to linux and I have a couple of laptops that I use for playing with distrobutions. Spatry gives a very non biased and informative review of distributions but here I am preaching to the quire you guys already know this. I have been enjoying your videos Spatry and thank your for doing what you're doing.
