Title: Multi boot USB pen drive software
Post by: niculinux on May 13, 2020, 12:22:43 PM
Hello there! I'd humbly ask to Spatry whether might be possible to have an epusode about multi boot USB pen drive software; for instance there are a couple of programs tha seemsc quite interesting:

YUMI from pendrivelinux.com
VENTOY from ventoy.net

Sinve there are also other programs, theMaybe an episode may cover 4/5  of these. How about it?

What you ask is difficult, I do not have the free time to research multiple applications and do a comparison between them. There is only one USB Multiboot (http://multibootusb.org/) tool I have used on Arch Linux and it performs very well.

If wanting a GUI, balenaEtcher is also a great choice. Simple UI and rarely have any issues with it. I've used it periodically when not wanting to bother with DD.

I'll second Etcher, I use that program all the time. It may not do multiple imaging like Multiboot, but it's very reliable in my experience.
