Title: Kdenlive Alpha Operations Bug?
Post by: crono141 on March 10, 2014, 12:30:21 AM
Hey everybody!  And Spatry specifically.  I've recently built myself a green screen as was following along with your tutorial on green screens without a halo.  I got to the alpha operations part and everything looked great in the preview, but when I rendered there was terrible flicker of the alpha channel.  Have you seen this before?  Have you overcome it, if so?  Link to youtube video below with the problems I'm having.  Thanks!

The flickering is caused by having multiple threads enabled in the MLT framework. You will need to set it down to 1 in the Kdenlive configuration settings under environment.

Thanks!  That's separate from rendering threads, right?

The render dialogue can always be at 4 threads... See my GET OUT OF THE BOX video in the OLD kdenlive videos and you will clearly be able to see what I am talking about.
