I've been experimenting with the difference between running ForceCompositionPipeline=On in the Startup or from the xorg.conf file.
I tested these two methods on PCLinuxOS Mate and on Linux Mint 18.3 XFCE. I don't know why but running it from the xorg.conf file seems to give me better results.
