Title: Unofficial non-free CDs including firmware packages
Post by: drum on April 19, 2014, 05:45:14 PM
These images are equivalent to the normal "netinst" CDs that weproduce regularly, but they also include non-free firmware to make installation easier on some systems requiring proprietary but redistributable firmware. See http://wiki.debian.org/Firmware (http://wiki.debian.org/Firmware)for more details.
You can find them here (http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/)

This is going to be really handy for me, especially if "wl" is there and probed, because I always have to plug in Ethernet if I am doing a Debian install. Thanks for sharing!
