[SOLVED] warning messages upon attempting to upgrade.

I ran 'sudo pacman -Syyu' and got this.

Yes I am not running KDe but i3wm.

Hi Siva!
It seems that the packages are downgraded in the repositories. Although i checked for the latest versions of the packages most of them are at the latest versions as you have on your local system. So probably you first refresh the mirror list before upgrading.

Code: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
sudo pacman-mirrors # for refreshing mirror list

sudo pacman -Syyu # to upgrade the system

Thanks, changing my mirror worked. So much for uding an https connection.


I did manage to fowngrade my packages earlier though.

Very happy that you got it working!
Perhaps you do not need to downgrade the packages until your system is working fine and wait for the latest versions of the packages to be pushed to the repository with some upcoming updates.

I switched mirrors and the packages upgraded back.
